Just wanted to let everyone know that Fred will be doing a live radio interview on Las Vegas Radio station KLAV. The show is Wednesday November 21 at 6:00 PM west coast time. Fred will be on for a large part of this one hour show. The station can be found at www.klav1230am.com.
This month marks my 16th year performing at Harry Denton’s Starlight Room. Many thanks to Kent Strand for hiring me to sing with the Starlight Orchestra. And a special thank you to Harry Denton and Michael Pagan. The band and I (The Fred Ross Project) will be performing this weekend November 16th and 17th 8:30 to 12:30 so please come on out and help us celebrate 16 years.

Well gang I’m back and recovering from jet lag which I’m sure will be happening for the next couple of days.
I would like to thank my family and all of you who sent out the love, and support , as well as big time encouragement for this tour with Tower Of Power. I can’t remember the last time I had as many hits on my website guess I should blog more … LOL. I’m very humbled and feel so much love from all of you.
Lack of wifi on the bus prevented me from getting to you sooner. Thanks to Emilio, Doc, Jack and the entire staff of the TowerOf Powerorganization and to Larry Braggs for recommending that I sub for him. Thanks for the band member for making me feel welcome its amazing how funky this band is after 44 years, these cats are still at the top of there game. David G. wasn’t there, he had to hang back to be inducted into the Percussive Hall of Fame which he so well deserves, but Joey Heredia did a wonderful job. MalmoSwedenwas off the chain, the TOP fans are amazing, a great mix of younger fans hanging out with the fans my age, that’s crazy cool. They welcomed me as if I’d been the band a long time and that was very much appreciated . Actually Stockholm, and Berlin we’re pretty much the same. Tower fans love their East Bay Soul.
After performing with Aretha Franklin, Greg Errico , Rose Stone ,Cynthia and Jerry , (Sly and the Family Stone) , Pee Wee Ellis Fred Wesley, Maceo Parker and now Tower of Power my career has come full circle. I have always wanted sing with all of these artist so I’m here to tell you “dreamers keep dreaming”, persevere and hang in there because dreams do come true .

My first show with TOP was surreal still can’t believe it, crazy stupid fun on and off the stage (by the way I hope you liked the video we were able to post) ….for those of us that have seen this amazing band you gotta know they are No Joke!!!! Can you imagine being on stage with them ???? Emilio runs a very tight and funky Ship that loves having fun, and connecting with there audience. I would have loved to have been better prepared, but one does what they have to when and opportunity presents its self. I’ve been friends and performed with several of the members of Tower over the years. But what is happening now is waaaaay different. Tonight we are in Malmo Sweden I feel very blessed and Lucky, thanks to all of you for your kind words, Love, and Support…more to come.
